Rutland Chamber member, Lawnscience, is named a finalist of the Geoffrey Pointon Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2023!

Mark Batty of Lawnscience, based in Langham, is a finalist of the Geoffrey Pointon Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2023 being held by The Biz Club, Uppingham!

This is a brilliant celebration of the hard work and obstacles Mark has overcome, and a well deserved recognition of his accomplishments.

Mark recently joined as a Rutland Chamber of Commerce member and his Lawn Care and gardening business has grown under the stewardship.

Mark commented “My business is traditionally limited to B2C but Oliver Hemsley has broadened my horizons by imparting on me his own experience in the industry and has introduced me to other Chamber members. There is a huge opportunity to serve the local B2B sector by offering my services to their local employees and management staff.”

Winning the Geoffrey Pointon Entrepreneur of the Year (2023) award would give Mark’s business a massive boost in terms of a £2,000 contribution from sponsors, Quibble’s marketing.

The Awards will be presented to the winners of each category at the November Biz Club Luncheon, which will take place on the 17th of November 2023. Rutland Chamber of Commerce wish Mark and the Lawnscience team the best of luck!
