Rutland Chamber of Commerce welcomes its first Patron member

Rutland Chamber of Commerce has welcomed its first Patron since launching last year.

Anglian Water, the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area has pledged their support to the business community through Chamber patronage.

With a mission to facilitate sustainable growth in the region, unlock opportunities for their customers and stakeholders, safeguard and improve the environment and provide a resilient supply for generations to come, Anglian Water have ambitious plans to support our communities.

Welcoming them, Francesca East, Head of Membership at Rutland Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are pleased to welcome Anglian Water as our first Patron, as a long-standing Patron of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, they have demonstrated serious commitment in championing the region’s economy and business community and we are delighted that they have decided to also support Rutland Chamber’s work through patronage.

“Anglian Water’s patronage offers a key relationship that will build on the Chamber’s longstanding work to support sustainability, business and economic growth in the area.

“We will support Anglian Water with new opportunities to connect with regional business and I look forward to working with them on what will be a very mutually beneficial partnership.”

Grant Tuffs, Regional Engagement Manager at Anglian Water said: “We recognise we have a duty to deliver wider benefits to local communities, above and beyond the provision of fresh, clean water.

“We are an active member of the business community in Rutland, and we are dedicated in helping local businesses understand the long-term importance of sustainable growth and maintaining a thriving natural environment that we can all enjoy. So much of how we support businesses mirrors the Chamber’s ambition, and patron membership will allow us to engage with the business community so much closer than before.

“We very much appreciate the support and guidance provided by the Chamber and look forward to in turn supporting them through this partnership.”
