“The ITOPs programme is a fundamental course for any organisation that employs staff that are involved in the everyday activities of Import / Export. The course was delivered by expert practitioners in the field of Export / Import, with full support from all tutors. I personally undertook this course as i supervise an export department and wanted to gain a full understanding of what their daily activities & issues involved.
At first i was a bit dubious about some of units involved, as i had never encountered some of the areas of import / export, but once i started to work through all the modules on the course, everything easily gelled into place.
“The course covered fundament areas of import / export processes from documentation involved, commercial invoices / letters of credit, CMR notes, airway bills, bills of lading, Insurance, Certificates of Origin, Dealing with Freight Forwarders (backed up with a training day at a freight forwarder), packing & marking requirements, Carnets, Incoterms, Commodity Codes, transport procedures, proof of origin. The course touches on all areas involved in export / import and I would recommend this course to anyone who either works in this area, and needs to increase their knowledge, or as a foundation course, if you are wanting to continue to pursue learning to a higher level.
Highly Recommended, professionally delivered via online learning, with full tutor support”
