About Two Chimps Coffee
We’re a small, seven-person team with a passion for opening the world of speciality coffee to everyone. Based in Oakham, Rutland, our artisan roasters hand-roast your coffee in small batches, ensuring mouthwatering flavours every time. Each of our coffees is speciality Arabica and has a single origin. Speciality coffee is the highest grade of arabica coffee, and it has been hand-picked, hand-sorted, and graded over 80 points by certified Q-Graders. You are getting the cream of the crop! Single origin isn’t just the origin; it traces right back to one area and one farm or small cooperative. We also source our beans via a small supply chain, so our farmers get a better price for their coffee. We are proud to say we’re a carbon-neutral coffee supplier. Climate change is already affecting planet Earth and it’s important to us at Two Chimps to make sure we’re part of the solution, not part of the problem.
Our Vision
Since opening our roastery doors in 2016, our head chimps, Andy and Laura, have always had the vision to provide better coffee that doesn’t cost us the earth. We have turned this vision into reality with our carbon-neutral certification and commitment to sourcing only the best beans. However, we are always looking for ways to do even more for our planet and are currently working towards becoming Net Zero.
